The Lord is compassionate and gracious,
slow to anger, abounding in love.

He will not always accuse, nor will He harbor His anger forever;
He does not treat us as our sins deserve
or repay us according to our iniquities.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth,
so great is His love for those who fear Him;
as far as the East is from the West,
so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

As a father has compassion on His children,
so the Lord has compassion on those who fear Him.

Praise the Lord, O my soul!

God's steadfast love never ceases and His mercies never come to an end! They are new with every sunrise. He declares to us: "Behold, I make all things new!" 

It is written that if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us and purify us from our unrighteousness. 

I declare to you on the authority of God's Word that in Christ you are forgiven!

In Christ, you are clean! In Christ, you are a new creation! 

Glory to God---His love surpasses our greatest sins.

Now is a good time to give God thanks. Praise Him for the mercy He has so freely poured out upon you. Acknowledge the blessings He has bestowed on you without regard to your unworthiness to receive them. 

God is good to us.
