Following Jesus is about relationship, not rules, rituals and regulations. Through Christ's death and resurrection we have been reconciled with God and we can fellowship with the Father and Jesus His Son through the Holy Spirit. Relationships with family and friends are cultivated by spending time with them and sharing in their interests. Our relationship with God is no different. We spend time in His presence through conversation with Him (prayer), loving Him (worship) and getting to know Him (reading and hearing the Scriptures). We don't do this to earn His love, but to daily experience His grace, His mercy and His forgiveness. Here are some resources to help you along the way: |
